Lake Bank is owned by the Rawdon-Smith Trust and comprises over 9 acres of pasture and woodland at the southern end of Coniston Water.
The pasture is sheep grazed under a tenancy agreement.
A permissive footpath crosses the land to the lakeshore where there is a jetty used by the Gondola and the base and compound for the Lake Bank Boat Club.
The 2-acre woodland, Boon Wood, was fenced off in 2022 to allow natural regeneration. A variety of native trees have been planted in the wood to increase biodiversity.
